World O-CHA(Tea) Festival 2007

The 3rd World O-CHA Festival will be held from November 1 through November 4 at Granship in Shizuoka City.
The theme of this year's Festival is "O-CHA is a Universal Word!".
Producing more than 40% of all the production of green tea in Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture welcomes many people around the world to enjoy and learn about green tea.


World O-CHA Fair

Enjoy and purchase tea, sweets and foods of many places around the world to get to know different cultures.

World O-CHA Trade Fair

International business meetings can be set up to discuss the business opportunities at this trade fair. As a leading producer of green tea in Japan, Shizuoka provides various exhibits and displays for international business to expand.

Tea Room with a New Concept

New ways to taste tea are proposed by architects, food researchers, and interior designers.You may be surprised at what you will find when you visit this room.

O-CHA Time Tunnel

Enjoy learning the history and culture of O-CHA as you go through the time tunnel. Why not explore the true face of Japan and Japanese culture by leaning about Japanese green tea?

International Conference on O-CHA Culture and Science

Researchers from around the world will get together to exchange their latest facts and results related to the health benefits, history, culture, production, and marketing of tea.

World Green Tea Conference

This is an international conference for representatives from tea producing and consuming countries in the world. They will follow up on the progress and results of the items discussed at the last Conference in 2004.
