Shizuoka Booth at the International Fancy Food & Confection Show

 

In order to invite foreign investment to the prefecture, the Shizuoka Prefectural Government hosted a booth at the International Fancy Food & Confection Show, showcasing various attractions of Shizuoka to US food companies.

2: Shizuoka Booth

The Shizuoka Prefectural Government exhibited a booth adjacent to Saitama Prefecture’s booth. At the display, in addition to various displays of Shizuoka’s attractions, we provided functional foods, such as chocolate with GABA, green-tea-candy with catechin. We also offered tasting of green tea with support from Sugimoto Seicha USA Inc., and more than 1,000 people visited the Shizuoka booth during the three day show. We had active business discussions with US food companies, and we plan to keep in touch with them with the hopes of creating profitable affiliations.
