New Representative at South East Asia Office

In March 2009, Mr. Taku Hasegawa will be sworn in as a representative of the Shizuoka South East Asia Office at Singapore. He has been working as an international business staff member at the Shizuoka Prefectural Government for as long as eight years, and he has both the expertise and knowledge of industry and network with companies in Shizuoka.

Mr. Hasegawa will be expected to support Shizuoka companies in South East Asia, India and the Oceania region. He also wishes to dedicate himself to promotion of tourism exchange and foreign direct investment to Shizuoka.
