Shizuoka Station Underground Walkway

The underground walkway at the north entrance of Shizuoka Station has been improved for better access by all users, particularly seniors and the disabled.

Universal Design Elements

Access from Shizuoka Station to the city center has been improved by renovating the underground parking lot and underground walkway.
Elevators have been provided for the redevelopment project at the north side of the Egawacho intersection.
Wheelchair and stroller users can now access the prefectural government offices, city government offices, police station and Shin-Shizuoka Station from Miyuki-dori.
